ARK Insert content + Logo sketches for Fortius| 25/01

This morning I received an e-mail from ARK client providing me with the content to insert in the pop-up & informing me what he expects. This didn’t take me long to integrate. He also wished that on the second page of the pop-up the last video is reordered as first and be bigger since it is more important than the remaining videos.

After our weekly meeting internally, I got my self the opportunity to design a logo for “Fortius”. It’s a company in Luxembourg that stores art of all sorts and also does transports of order that go directly through them. Mr. Chalon took some time to explain to Ms. Nothelier about “Fortius” and where to find the files they provided. The files give further detail about the company and business rivals etc. However, they also added files that clearly tell what they like and what they don't.

symbols they like

After reading and inspiring on Pinterest and Google, I started sketching all of my ideas. Once I emptied all of my ideas, I asked Ms. Nothelier to tell me what she likes most what I should develop further. This allowed me to progress get new ideas along the way. At the end of the day, I showed my sketches to Mr. Chalon and he seemed very satisfied with my work and keeps the sketches he liked most so he’ll do them on Illustrator later this week. However, If I got some time to spear I will ask him if he wouldn’t mind if I do it too.

Create Posts for Athena and logo design for fortius| 26/01

This morning I had to work on Athena. First my CEO Mr.Briquemont wanted me to delete the 3 product subpages and create them in the Product section. Afterward, I created 18 new posts for Athena, inserted the content, and scheduled them for their specific date. The rest of the day I spend with the logo designing of Fortius.

Attempt to design with Avada, favicon & logo fortius| 27/01

I was asked to try to style with the WP plugin Avada. Soon while I was styling in Avada I erased the progress of my CEO unwillingly when I pressed the button “reset” thinking it would undo my last changes that weren’t correct. I apologized for this inconvenience and was assigned to check the post’s quotes that somehow appear twice. However, after checking every post this seemed not to be the case for me, therefore I m presuming that while styling the page it adds the quotes automatically. As a result, I should remove the quotes from the post’s content. Next, I design a new favicon for Athena more precisely 2 favicon variants. One is Athena's face but illustrated and the other is the logo of Athena except it only contains the “A”.

Correcting content insertion due to copy/paste formating| 28/01

Today I spend the morning designing on Fortius logo. I’m trying out loads of things to obtain something I m happy with. In the afternoon, however, I got interrupted by my CEO. He wants me to correct the content in the Athena project, which has code inserted in the content because when I copy/pasted it kept the formatting… So spend a good portion of the day undoing this. Afterward, I continued on the Fortius logo.

Uploading 404 page and adding Valentines menu link to Ladygreen | 29/01

This morning I got a new task assign for lady green. I had to add a link to the website that enables the user to download a document that contained the Valentine menu. Once the style of the link was alright and checking that the link works, I was allowed to upload them. The next task is that I have to add an input field in ladygreen’s theme settings that enables ladygreen to upload a file and add it as a link tag on the website.
