Merry Christmas & Happy new year!

This week will be a lot short since I only work until the 23rd & my supervisor is on leave. However, he’ll be back for “Secret Santa” on the 23rd. It's likely to be the last day of work of this year since everyone is on leave from the 24 to 4.

Redesigning web portfolio| 21/12

On Monday, I remembered that I had designed my portfolio on Figma. I used the previous design and rearranged them, and tied out new layouts. At the end of the day, I managed to finish a desktop version and mobile version to ask for feedback the next day.

Redesign & Symfony | 22/12 & 23/12

This morning I asked everyone at work for their opinion, and they said;

  • That leaving “hotmail” is less professional than, for instance, “gmail.”
  • That the design is very similar to the previous one
  • That portfolio is missing some personal touch.

From left to right, you can see the progression and the things I tried out on the picture beneath.

In the end, I decided to go with this version for my Portfolio.

For the rest of the day and the day after until 4 pm, I learned about Symfony. I managed thanks to de documentation and a video tutorial to set up my on Symfony work environment. I am now ready to code and integrate my portfolio. I am proud and happy to have a cool template for my future projects, too, since I seem to like its flexibility.

At 4 pm we finished work. We socialized a bit (of course, considering covid restriction) and received our secret Santa gifts.

I wish my work colleagues and you, my dear reader, a Merry Christmas and a happy new year! See u on the week of the 4th of January!
